HOA common areas, apartment complexes and commercial properties on scheduled maintenance and improvement contracts.
Formed, reinforced and finished concrete patios. Broom, smooth or stamped finish with proper slope for drainage.
Driveways poured to the right thickness and reinforcement for vehicle loads, with control joints cut to prevent cracking.
Curved paths, integrated steps, and connected patio areas built as one continuous pour for a clean finish.
Interlocking pavers set on compacted base and bedding sand, locked in with edge restraint and polymeric joint sand.
Heavier base depth and thicker pavers rated for vehicle traffic, laid in a pattern that resists shifting over time.
Front paths, side yard access and garden routes in concrete, pavers or stone, graded so water runs off instead of pooling.
Block and masonry walls built with proper footing, backfill and drainage so they hold the slope for the long run.
Synthetic turf over compacted base with drainage, secured seams and infill. No watering, no mowing, green year round.
Existing lawn removed, soil prepped and amended, fresh sod laid tight and rolled so it roots in evenly.
Rock and gravel ground cover over weed barrier — low water, low maintenance, and it holds its look for years.
Fresh mulch through beds and around trees to hold moisture, suppress weeds and finish the yard clean.
Zoned drip and spray systems designed around your plant types, with a smart controller so watering matches the season.
Broken heads, cracked lines, bad valves and dead zones diagnosed and fixed, then tested zone by zone.
Low voltage path, uplight and accent fixtures placed to make the yard usable after dark and the house look better from the street.
Wood, vinyl and composite fencing set on properly footed posts, lined straight and built to handle wind and slope.
Shaping, thinning and clearance cuts done at the right time of year to keep trees healthy and off your roof and lines.
Scheduled feeding matched to your grass type and the season, so the lawn holds color through the dry months.
Pre and post emergent treatment through lawn, beds and hardscape joints to stop weeds before they take the yard.

View on Google MapsCoastline Landscaping is a San Diego landscaping company built around East County properties. We work in La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Spring Valley and the neighborhoods around them — which means we know the soil, the slopes, the water restrictions and what actually survives an inland San Diego summer.
Most of what we do falls into two buckets. There is construction work — concrete, pavers, retaining walls, turf, irrigation, fencing, lighting — where a property gets rebuilt into something that works better than it did. And there is maintenance, where we keep a property sharp week after week so it never gets away from you.
We are not the outfit that shows up, gives a number off the top of their head, and disappears halfway through. Every job starts with a walkthrough and a written scope. You know what is being built, what it costs, and roughly how long it takes before anyone touches the yard.
Estimates are free and there is no pressure attached to them. If we are not the right fit for the project, we will tell you that too.
Yes, and they are free. We walk the property, take measurements, talk through what you want, and send a written scope and price. Every yard is different, so we do not quote hardscape or installation work over the phone — the number would be wrong and you would find out later.
Our core service area is East San Diego County: La Mesa, El Cajon, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, Santee, Casa de Oro, Mount Helix, Rancho San Diego, Fletcher Hills and Del Cerro. For larger projects we travel throughout San Diego County — call and ask.
Yes. Single family homes make up most of what we do, but we also handle HOA common areas, apartment complexes and commercial properties on recurring maintenance contracts and improvement projects.
A patio or walkway is usually two to four days. Turf or sod replacement runs three to five days. A full front and back renovation with hardscape, irrigation and planting typically takes two to four weeks depending on scope and material lead times. Your written estimate includes a realistic timeline.
Yes. Weekly and bi-weekly plans cover mowing, edging, blowing, bed care and green waste removal on a fixed schedule at a flat monthly rate. Same crew, same day each week.
Most of what we install now is built around lower water use — artificial turf, decorative rock, drip irrigation and drought tolerant planting. We can walk you through which option fits your property and what it does to your water bill.
Fill out the form or call directly. We will get out to the property, walk it with you, and send a written scope and price.
